as members of the Inspectorate to be represented by a brother officer at disciplinary proceedings against them. It would however (and this is confirmed by Sir Arthur Grattan-Bellew and by the police adviser) be inappropriate, undesirable and also out of line with practice in most other territories, for a police officer to be represented at disciplinary proceedings, by a lawyer.
