Briefs for Consultations with Commonwealth
Ministers - JUNE 1967
On 24 May I circulated a minute on briefs for
Mr. Holt's visit. The Cabinet Office have now aske
for further briefs as in the attached list. The Committee Section require 55 copies (numbered 1 - 55 of each brief by mid-day this Thursday 8 June. I also attach a sample front page.
2. I should be grateful if Mr. Reed could prepare Briefs Nos. 4 and 6 (Anglo/Malaysian Defence Agreement and "Mid-70s") and Mr. Carter Brief No. 5 (Hong Kong). Consultation should also be arranged with other government departments. Briefs which have been cleared should be shown as "final"; if necessary the Cabinet Office could arrange a meeting to consider briefs which cannot otherwise be
cleared.
