e, In order to meet the requirement for rapid reinforcement
from the United Kingdom there will have to be pro-stocking
of unit equipment at internal security scales for the
reinforcing battalions.
War Maintenance Reserves would be
based on the major units of the permanent garrison only.
f. The detailed breakdown of personnel and costings are
shown at ppendix. The costs of our proposals above the
present permanent garrison will be:-

Royal Air Force
The Royal Navy and Army costs have already been taken into
account in the Force Structure Study (16) in course of
preparation,to which will now be added the Royal Air Force
element.
