The Committee:

Agreed with the remarks of the Chief of the Defence Staff in his summing up.
(2) Instructed the Assistant Chief of the Defence Staff (Policy) to draft replies to the signal (8) from the Australian Chiefs of Staff and the note (4) from the New Zealand Chiefs of Staff.
