It is requested that clearance of this paper by the Directors of Defence Plans be notified by telephone to the Defence Planning Staff Secretariat (Whitehall 7022 Ext 2917) by Noon on Thursday 19th October 1967.
2. Proposed amendments or comments should be circulated as indicated in DPS 1191/4/7/67.
3. In addition to the Directors of Defence Plans the following departments are specifically
requested to notify their clearance or comments:

If the Note is not cleared by telephone it will be tabled at a meeting of the Directors of Defence Plans to be held in the afternoon of Thursday 19th October.
