A number of amendments to the cover note were agreed.
THE CHAIRMAN, summing up, said that the Chairman of the Defence Review Working Party should re-draft the cover note to take account of the points agreed by the Committee, and should agree the revised note with
Departments. The note, together with the Report, revised as agreed at OPDO(67) 2nd Meeting, should then be circulated to the Defence and Oversea Policy Committee.
The Committee
Instructed the Chairman of the Defence Review Working Party to
revise the cover note to the Report on the Defence Expenditure Studies on the lines agreed in discussion, and to arrange for its circulation, together with the Report, to the Defence and Oversea Policy Committee.
