July 1968 on the Polytechnic has been passed to me. Herries, the Chairman of the Hong Kong University Grants Committee, left here for Scotland on 19 July. I do not think he will be in London before the morning of 7 August present plans are that he will come up on the overnight train on 6 August. The Committee is meeting at 10 am on 7 August at 14 Park Crescent, W.1. the UK University Grants Committee office, and the party will be nine strong on our side. copying your telegram and this letter to Herries in case he can get in touch with you in Scotland is
