Communist Schools.
The inspection of the Chung Wah School went off without trouble. The Inspectors were welcomed with tea and cigarettes and shown all the classrooms. No breach of the education ordinance was detected but Mao portraits and
hin Piao.
quotation were well in evidence. Books used were standard text books. There was no sign of books of Mao's thoughts, Mao badges nor copies of Left-Wing Press. Children did not stand up when Inspectors entered classrooms but other- wise were extremely well behaved.
2. Further inspections are now planned. being given to today's inspections by us.
