I am sorry not to have replied earlier to your letter of
25 November about information for your Export Credit Insurance
Corporation. The Minister of State has written to the Board
of Trade on the lines discussed in Hong Kong and we await a
reply. While I am more hopeful than hitherto about the
eventual outcome, I do not expect a favourable result without
a certain amount of (probably lengtny) argument.
I will keep you in touch with developments.
