Dear Philip
Lord Shepherd has had only an interim reply to his
letter to Lord Brown in the Board of Trade about the provision
of information to your Export Credit Insurance Corporation.
This indicates that there are certain aspects of the matter
that are still troubling other departments and that these are
being carefully examined. I do not think there is anything
our Minister can usefully do to speed up this process.
