Mr. Chairman,
I have the honour to inform you of the following in respect of the importation of certain products from the United Kingdom into the Federal Republic of Germany in 1967:
1. Cut Plowers:
(1) Tulips and narcissi:
When the quota to the amount of TM 150,000.- -- set out
under 6 of the commodity list which is attached as an
Annex to the Agreed Minute dated 20 July, 1967, has been utilized to the extent of 80 %, it may be
incrcaged by TM
50,000.-- at a time to a maximum amount
of TM 300,000.- at the request of the United KingdomD.
(2) Othe: Cut Mowern
Shoull full use have been made of tha quota get out
unler 6b of the paid commodity list, it may, at the request of the United Kingiom, be increased by a further
IM 50,000.- in the month following the month during which full use was made of the quota. Thia arrangement will also apply for the following mouths during the perioa of the validity of the Agreso Minutə dated 20 July, 1967, with the exception of the month of
August.
II. Canned Vegetables
In addition to the sub-item under the "miscellaneous
foodstuffs" quota, the United Kingdom will be able to participate in any global invitations to tender for canned vegetables published by the German authorities.
