If the occitments in respect of the gradual introduc- tion of a conton trade policy arising from the Treaty Establishing the European Econoric Community recuirs it, negotiations will be initiated as soon as possible with the aim of including all relevant alterations in the present Agreed Minute.

2. If the commitments arising from the Treaty Establishing

the European Free Trade Area reruire it, negotiations will be initiated as soon as possible with the air of including all relevant alterations in the prezent Agreed

Minute.

VII. Berlin

The agreements set out in the present Agreed liinuta and the annex thorato also apply to Land Berlin, provided that the Government of the Federal Republic Las not rade contrary declaration to the Government of the Unitol Kingdom within three months from the date of the signature of this Agreed Hinute.

VIII. Consultation Clause

Should Jifficulties arise on the implementation of the present Agreea Minute the Gove "nents of both countries will reet for consultations at the ra muust of either of them. The saze applies should one of the two Govern- ments desire such consultations uuring the period of validity of the present Agreed Minuta.

Cancellation of Earlier Agregmenta

The Agreed Minutes of 15 July, 1963, 14 Feoruary, 1964 and 19 January, 1965, including all letters apponded thereto, ceased to have affect on 31 December, 1966.

Ferio of Validity of the Present Agreed Minute

The present Agreed Minute and the Annexes there to will be valid for the period from 1 January to 31 December, 1967.
