Following is text of a broadcast at Man Kam to Bridge at 1125 a.m. today 23 October.
British Government will be responsible for the consequences of closing the Bridge. The workers on the construction site and the Chinese constables had better leave the place otherwise it will be dangerous for them when we start to take action.

The following reply was broadcast from our side.
The British Government has now heard from the C.P.G. in Peking and the matter is now being considered.
