NCNA informed us at 1400 local time that they had the following message from the Shum Chun border authorities that there were one or two points outstanding from the discussions and that they propose another meeting on 5 or 6 November: The arrangements due to take place this afternoon should be postponed until after the next meeting.
2. The NCNA contact was unable to indicate what the outstanding points might be.
3. Grateful if Peking would inform Ministry of Foreign Affairs of this if possible.
