2 Chinese boys throw stones for about three minutes from Ow at Man Kan To Police Post. No damage or injuries.

Broadcasting from Chung Hop Store, Sha Tau Kok (CT).

About 15 mombers of the Sha Tau Kok (CT) Militia crossed into San Lau Street, S.T.K. (BT) and put up Anti British Postors in the Fish Market there.

Sketches of Hong Kong Policemen and some posters were seen hanging up by the Chung Hop Store in Sha Tau Kok (CT). A peaceful crowd of about 20 gathered round to look at

them.

The District Officer Taipo was slightly injured by an air gun pollet while he was walking in San Lau Street, Sha Tau Kok (BT) near the Fish Market. The pellet appeared to come from CT. Two bottles were also thrown at the military, from CT, at this time.

While troops were removing the anti-British posters from the Fish Market, they were stoned from CT. No injuries or damage.

The Commander of the British Forces in Sha Tau Kok (37)

made a broadcast to the Commander of the Chinese Forces in

Sha Tau Kok (CT) urging a return to normality along the border, and an end to incidents. No reaction noted from the CT side.

30 children carrying red flags and portraits of Mao walked along Chung Ying Street (STK) towards Sha Ling Village (CT).

About 60 villagers gathered along San Lau Street, Sha Tau Kok (CT) holding red flags and portraits of Mao. They later dispersed.

Inflammatory broadcasts were made from the King Fong Yusn Restaurant in Sha Tau Kok (BT) calling on Chinese Policemen and Nopalese soldiers to turn against the British.

Mandarin Opera and a Mandarin speech wore broadcast from. CT to the occupants of Man Kam To Police Post.

16 youths beating drums and banging gongs paraded in Sha Tau Kok (CT) opposite San Lau Street. At the same time a broad cast was made from the Chung Hop Store in S.T.K. (CT). Fivo of the persons taking part in the procession were recognised tò bo BT residents who fled to CT after the rioting on the 24/6/67. The others were Militia, one of whom had a camera and took several photographs of Sha Tau Kok (BT).
