Macao.
The Hong Kong left wing press this morning carry on their Hong Kong/Macao pages several articles describing the "indignation" felt by compatriots in Macao at the procrastination of the Macao Government. The main headline warns that the struggle will escalate if the Government continues its delaying tactics.
2. Letters from various Macao residents to the left wing Macao Daily contain proposals that (a) an "all-circles rebellion headquarters" be established (b) all organisations send representatives to protest to the Government, to urge it to carry out its promises immediately and to sign an admission of guilt (c) all businessmen in Macao should immediately take effective measures to boycott the Government (a) no taxes should be paid until the admission of guilt had been signed and broadcast over the radio (e) the Red Guards and the People's Liberation Army should be "invited to enter Macao and make the Portuguese authorities in Macao thoroughly comfortable" (f) no foodstuffs or consumer goods should be sold to the Macao Government or its officials (g) no transport facilities should be made available to officials who are devils from the Western Ocean.
