Dear Mr. Mumford,
This is to advise you of the proposed visit of the USS LONG BEACH (CGN-9) to Hong Kong during the period 7-12 June 1968. It is under- stood that the ship will berth at buoy A-11, A-12, or A-30, and that the transit will be made via the East Lamma Channel. A formal visit request will be made through the normal Hong Kong channels.
