Text of Reply to Chinese Note of 1st February, 1966
Her Britannic Majesty's Chargé d'Affaires presents his compliments, etc., etc., and with reference to the Ministry's Note of 1st February, 1966, about Hong Kong has the honour to reply as follows.
2. Her Majesty's Government regret that the Chinese Government have seen fit to repeat their allegations that Hong Kong is being used as a base for military operations directed against China and elsewhere by the United States armed Forces. Her Majesty's Government wish once again to deny the se allegations and to reaffirm the statements made in their Note of 11th October, 1965.
