Mr. Christofas
Major-General McNeill
As agreed over the telephone, we have
included in the programme of the Governor of
Hong Kong a meeting with the Chiefs of Staff
at 2.45 p.m. on 30 April.
I understand from General McNeill that
it is unlikely that this engagement would
occupy the Governor beyond 3.45 p.m. - in which
case part of the afternoon could still be
available for continuation of the financial
talks if that should be necessary.
