A Police Constable was attacked and shot dead by two Chinese men at Kam Tin village in New Territories at about 11.40 a.m. today Saturday and his revolver stolen.
Another Police Constable fired a number of shots at attackers who escaped. A man was later arrested.
Police are now (repeat now) searching area.
Police and personnel carried out another search in New Territories this morning. Eleven people were detained for enquiries following swoop of Hok Tau (repeat Hok Tau) village and Ma Mei (repeat Ma Mei) village in two hour operation which began at 6.15 a.m. Ends Informs.
