Emergency Statistics
On the 29th May there were 734 persons still serving prison sentences for offences connected with the disturbances. In addition, 52 persons were being held in detention, 6 under the Deportation of Aliens Ordinance, and 46 by detention orders made under the Emergency Regulations.
