The first reports street clashes from 11 to 13 July and notes with approval curfew breaking by patriotic compatriots.
The second item reports the police raid on the Kowloon Dockyard Workers' Union and the Associated Workers Children's School on 14 July, in which one man was killed and 81 arrested, and an incident on 13 July in which three staff members of P'ei Ch'iao Middle School were apprehended while driving a wanted car. There is also a photograph showing staff of Wah Fung Emporium reading Mao's works.
