Personal and Administrative Considerations.
To stay would cause me some personal difficulties, and I think I must let my family go on the due date as planned. Delay would also upset administrative postings, etc., but this can be overcome.
ба
On balance, and in the light of the situation as it now is, I believe I should decide to stay on for a week or two (and announce this intention) to see how the immediate crisis develops. If the situation has not by then simmered down reasonably into some kind of lull, I would stay on in the hope of being able to get away at some suitable opportunity; but in the end I fear a time would come when I would have to fix a date a month or so ahead (since I have to make leave accommodation arrangements), perhaps after
I very 10th October, and go whatever the current situation. much fear that to delay any longer than that would be to risk being insufficiently up to my duties; and in this my medical advisers concur.
