to give the appearance of taking action without
necessarily so disrupting Hong Kong as to cause
themselves serious economic damage. fe can only hope
that such policy will be continue?. It is significant
in this connection that for over a week now the "five
derends" have not been rentioned in the Chinese prese
or propaganda.
