Dear Blaker,
Thank you for your interesting letter
of 4th May about the possibility of developing
'Ombudsman' machinery in Hong Kong.
I have informed the Governor of your letter and asked him for his views. When these have been received and considered here I will send you a full reply. I am sure that you will understand that in view of the current situation in Hong Kong it may be a little time before the Governor can send us his considered comments, but I shall get in touch with you again on this as soon as I
can.
