I have the honour to inform you that I have appointed Mr ANN Tse-kai provisionally and subject to Her Majesty's pleasure, to be an Unofficial Member of the Legislative Council during the absence from the Colony of Mr P.Y. Tang with effect from 28th May 1968.

Mr Ann, who has not previously served on the Council, is the managing director of a local industrial firm and Chairman of the Cotton Spinners Association. He is a member of several committees including the University Grants Committee, of which he is Deputy Chairman, and the Trade and Industry Advisory Board.

Copies of the Instrument of Appointment in respect of Mr Ann and of the Gazette Notice promulgating his appointment are attached.
