1. DAVID CLIVE CROSBIE TRENCH, Knight Commander of the Most
Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, upon whom bas
been conferred the Decoration of the Military Cross, Governor and
Commander-in-Chief of the Colony of Hong Kong and its Dependencies,
and Vice-Admiral of the same, in accordance with instructions received
from Her Majesty the Queen through the Right Honourable the Secretary
of State for Commonwealth Affairs, do by these presents resppoint you

Companion of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint
George, Justice of the Peace, to be an Official Member of the Legia -
lative Council of Hong Kong with effect from 1st July, 1968 until
30th June, 1969, both days inclusive.
