All rooms look out from the circle, with windows and balconies sur- rounding the perimeter. Circular glazed corridors enclose a well which extends the full height of the build- ing above the huge main entrance lobby at first floor level.
Adjoining the circular tower on the east side, and extending the length of the sea frontage with a return to- wards the north corner of the site is a nine-storey block in which is the remainder of the hotel accommoda- tion. Shops and lounges around the lobby of the circular block are linked to further shops, stores and restaur- ants on the first floor of this building.
Two two-storey rotundas are located in front of the grille-like facade of the nine-storey block. One contains a Chinese restaurant on the first floor with a circular department store below.
The other houses on the first floor a seafood restaurant in which a cool. seascape atmosphere is created by a series of semi-circular pools full of
