THE administrative offices of the fair comprise two parallel, slim four- storey blocks with steep roofs in the Thai style. These are joined at each end by glazed walkways to form an internal court which is laid out as a formal garden.
Foundations. Reinforced concrete. Prestressed concrete piles.
Framework. Reinforced concrete. Timber roof structure.
Cladding. Sun breakers along the external corridors are made from aluminium grills painted gold. Roof- ing is Thai-made coloured tiles.
Finishes. Exterior walls finished in washed terrazzo. interior walls in Teako boards.
