Each Lateral carrier holds 24 han- gers for a maximum capacity of 1,000 drawings measuring up to 3 ft. wide by 4 ft. 5 in. long (91.4 cm. by 1.346 m.). Supplied as an easily-assembled kit, the black-enamelled tubular-steel framework stands on the ground, transferring its loaded weight down- wards, but must be fixed to a wall at two points for added stability.
It measures 3 ft. wide by 4 ft. 6 in. (1.372 m.) high by 1 ft. 6 in. (45.7 cm.) deep allowing for a wall skirt- ing board and, when loaded with hangers, projects approximately 3 ft. 7 in. (1.092 m.) from the wall.
COVERING MATERIAL
Fourteen designs added to range of self-adhesive vinyls
FOURTEEN patterns and colourways have been added to the Fablon range of self-adhesive vinyl covering ma- terials, which are produced in widths of 18 in., 27 in. and 36 in. (45.7 cm., 68.6 cm. and 91.4 cm.).
The textured 27 in. wide material is now available in Bernadette, which is a trellised-rose effect in blue or pink on white, and in Paisley, a traditional pattern with a red or yellow back- ground. Several 18 in. wide designs have been based on squares, these being Rondel which comprises pat- terned circles laid on blue and green rectangles; Cramlie, in which gold is used to overcheck blue, green or orange mottled backgrounds; and Checkette, a small gingham pattern in grey or blue on white.
Delphic is considered particularly suitable for the bathroom and is an imitation mosaic sea-bed design with blue or beige as the predominant colour. Both are available in the 18in. width, the blue also being produced 36 in. wide. Prism, a stained-glass effect, has been added to the 18in.- wide Decroglaze range of translucent materials intended for application to plain glass to give privacy without installing textured windows.
Cotswold, a design added to the Panorama range, is based on a paint- ing and shows a village by a river which is bordered by a variety of summer flowers. The picture is in full colour and is supplied in con- tinuous strips, 36 in. high by any length required.

SLIDING DOOR Designed for open-front shops and showrooms
A SINGLE track sliding aluminium door, designed for open-front shops and showrooms, has been developed by Mackamax Aluminium Ltd., 50 Aylesbury Road, Aston Clinton, Aylesbury, Bucks, UK.
Known as Kawneer 1040, the door is a multi-panel door with sin- gle-track layout, combining the ad- vantages of a secure fixed window display with those of open-front trading.
When in place, the door is secure and gives an unobstructed view of the display area. When the panels are stacked away the door allows free access, The sections slide back and forth easily and positively on the track without overhead hangers.

Stainless steel guides are built into the castors, which fit into special slots in the track and diverters are incor- porated to change direction according to the track contours. The units are available in anodised aluminium finish or with Kawneer Permanodic Hard- colour finish in honey bronze, anti- que bronze or sable black, which is non-fading and resistant to abrasion.
