On the retirement of Mr. F. E. d'Almada Remedios, Mr. Jose F. da Silva, A.M.I.C.E., has been appointed as manager of The Vibro Piling Co., Ltd., local licensees of The British Steel Piling Co., Ltd. Prior to joining The Vibro Piling Company three years ago, Mr. da Silva, who is a Chartered Civil Engineer, was the Senior Lecturer in Building Construction and Structures in the Faculty of Architecture, University of Hong Kong.
