Type B
With its very novel circular front verandah the cover of which is carried on a purposely designed prominent post and beam arrangement, it is probably the most outstanding of the four types, As such they are placed to the fore of each group of buildings and will be conspicuous from whichever angle the development is viewed. The floor plan is squarish with the entrance hall at the rear of the building which gives access to the living room and from which a short corridor branches of to the bedrooms.

Type D
Four of this type are used because their positions in the group require the entrance hall to be at one end of the building. R.B.L.'s 60% and 005 are on about the same level and adjacent to each other but on opposite lands. One roadway serves both houses, terminating in a large turning area between them. The other two are at the terminals of the private approach road and, in each case, lead right up to the front doors. It is interesting to study the different treatment of the garage positions.
