For ease of comparison the Singapore prices given below are quoted in Hong Kong Dollars, converted at the rate of Str. $1.00 to HK. $2.00. They are, in nearly every case, the averages of several quotations.
Galvanized steel water pipe is in short supply in Hong Kong. The prices quoted are for indent orders. Where a small quantity is required immediately from a retailer the price may be seventy five per cent higher than that quoted.
