Maximum compaction. Minimum maintenance.

Hyster's C200 smooth drum compacter, for granular soils, and C210 vibratory compacter, with tamping feet for semi-cohesive soils, are field proved for performance. Fewer passes are needed to achieve specified densities because compacting forces are more effectively used. Natural rubber isolators keep 95 percent of the generated vibratory forces on the drum-away from the frame and engine. Hyster's exclusive all-gear drive eliminates belt-drive problems of breakage, slippage, and vibration feedback.

Either compacter can be towed by any medium-sized rubber tire or crawler tractor, handling lifts at speeds to 3 miles per hour. Achieving total impact forces to 30,100 pounds, they are ideally suited to compacting base or fill for highways, airstrips, building sites, dams, or similar construction projects.

Remote control permits the operator to start or stop the engine from the tractor. Diesel and gasoline engines are available. Hyster vibratory compacters are sold and serviced by your Hyster dealer-contact him for a demonstration.
