The "Continuous Purification System" consists of circulating the water continuously through a purification plant so that it is returned to the pool in a clear and sparkling condition, and, what is of much greater import - ance, bacteriologically pure, even under the heaviest bathing loads.
The purification process consists of aeration, the removal of suspended matter and colour and the destrue. tion of bacteria by sterilization. As the same water is used over and over again the only cost for water, apart from the first filling, is for that used for to make up for splashing, evaporation etc.
Running costs of the purification system are far less than the cost of the water used in the old "fll and empty" system.
