RESIDENCE ON R.B.L. 507, DEEPWATER BAY

Architects' perspective painting of the completed residence.

A very charming residence is being erected on R.B.L. 507, Deepwater Bay, for Mr. S. W. Lee. The site is a very restricted one, situated right on the foreshore overlooking the bay, and the Architects, Messrs. T. C. Yuen & Co., have made a very good job of utilising the limitations of the site and adapting the rather steep contours to provide an interesting arrangement of amenities at various levels.

The house itself is not a large one, occupying less than 1700 square feet, the arrangement is simple with living room

and dining room combined on the ground floor and three bedrooms with two bathrooms on the floor above, but the available space has been very cleverly utilised.

The length of the sitting room and dining room together is 33'6" and, when combined by means of wide sliding folding french doors, with the terrace which runs the full width of these two rooms, there results a living room area of over 800 square feet.
