I.C.I. URETHANE FOAMS
Five tons of ICI Urethane Foams insulate the roof of the assembly chamber of the new Parliament Building in Kuala Lumpur, helping to preserve its air-conditioned coolness even on the hottest day. The spraying of these foams on the underside of the roof has also produced excellent acoustics in the assembly chamber.
I.C.I. Urethane Rigid Foams possess outstanding physical properties-as well as excellent resistance to heat, oils, organic solvents, mould growth, and corrosion-essential safe-guards for the entire modern building industry. Light in weight, yet structurally strong, they can be used for making blocks or sandwich constructions of many types, for incorporation in stressed structures.
They are also ideal for insulating lorries and containers transporting perishable foodstuffs. Skilled contractors in Malaysia are available to undertake this work.
