A STARTLING contrast to its drab surroundings of old low-cost houses, squatter huts and paddy fields, the new Church of Our Lady Fatima in Macau is an unusual arrangement of black and white blocks.
It presents a 'toy brick', squared-off look, far removed from the Catholic Church's traditional spires and arches, but of a scale in keeping with the near- by low-rise development.
