The 12 sets of steel cable hangers will be spaced 36 ft. apart. Each hanger measures only 5 in. by 10 in. including a fireproof encasement.
Natural gas will supply fuel to natural gas en- gines driving electric generators to provide power for building lighting and electrical equipment. Heat recovered from the engine exhaust gases and jacket water in the form of low pressure steam is utilized to satisfy the entire building space heating require- ments and utility hot water demands.
The structural engineers for the building, due for completion in August, are Bogue, Babicki and Associates Ltd. The mechanical engineers are Phil- lips, Barratt, Hiller, Jones and Partners, and the main contractor, Marwell Construction Ltd.
