The Cowdroy nylon tyred ball bearing door set consists of a nylon tyred sheave race in a cadmium plated pressed metal frame, a runner in rust- proof extruded "Dural", floor guide, pair of end stops and a set of fixing screws.

The movement of the door is based upon an oil sealed ball race with a lifelong nylon tyre. This gives a posi- tive, silent rolling action, and as the ball race is sealed it never needs any lubrication.
Provision has been made in the race block for a special adjusting slot. This allows the door to be raised or lowered, or if the door jamb is not exactly vertical the door can be given. a slight tilt to make it but exactly with the door jamb.
