Striking evidence of the rise of the Liu Chong Hing Bank Limited, par- ticularly in recent years, are its plans for new headquarters in the heart of Hong Kong's business area.
The building, which will be erected. at Nos. 24, 24A, and 24B Des Voeux Road Central on M.L. 62, will tower 20 storeys from the street level and its appointments equipment and gen- eral banking facilities will rank with the most modern banking premises in the Colony.
Driving force behind the building scheme is the Bank's managing direc- tor and founder, Mr. Liu Po Shan, a widely experienced and highly success- ful businessman before he organised formation of the Bank 16 years ago.
