will be of folded, reinforced concrete slabs finished in mosaic tiles, with a steel bulustrade and timber handrail.
Beneath the office will be a show- room of about 800 square feet and reception centre.
Facilities for the staft such as changing rooms, bathrooms with toilets, canteen and rest rooms will be provided at one end of the factory building at ground floor level.
The factory proper will comprise 12.000 square feet (160 feet by 80 feet by 20 feet). built of reinforced con- crete throughout with roof of cor- rugated asbestos sheets on timber girders of 10 feet centres. The fascia all round will be cement asbestos sheets.
The factory is so designed to enable lorries bringing in the raw ground- nuts to unload conveniently into a bulk storage room (40 feet by 20 feet).
From this storage the groundnuts will be transferred by trolleys to washing troughs, fitted with sprays, and from there into the cooking section in which a battery of four ovens will electrically heat giant cauldrons of water.
From the cauldrons, the cooked groundnuts will be transferred to a cemented open drying shed covering almost an acre in area,
With the drying completed, the groundnuts will be trolleyed back to a heating section and from there taken to a sorting room and then finally to the packing section, ready for export.
