SANDVIK COROMANT A complete range of stone-working steels

Sandvik Coromant are the most widely used tungsten carbide tipped drill steels in the world, responsible for drilling more than 1,000 million feet each year. When it comes to stone-working steels, a complete range is available for every quarrying operation:

Chisel steels-hand or machine. The machine chisel steels can be supplied on request with a rubber sleeve to protect the worker from vibration.

Plug hole drill steels-34" and 44′′ shank. SR-treated ag- ainst corrosion, giving up to 50% longer life.

3" hollow hexagon drill steels--also SR-treated. Ideal for secondary drilling and smaller benching operations.

All Sandvik Coromant stone-working steels are tipped with high- quality tungsten carbide and have been developed to work with Atlas Copco drills-the well-known “Terrier" rock drill and the BHV series of stone working tools and surfacing hammers. This range covers all small-scale operations in the quarrying industry. A complete range of compressed air equipment

Sandvik Coromant steels and detachable bits are distributed by Atlas Copco who manufacture portable and stationary compres- sors, rock-drilling equipment, loaders, pneumatic tools and paint- spraying equipment. All are sold and serviced by companies or agents in ninety countries throughout the world.
