Access to all floors will be by Otis lifts passenger lifts with a speed of 700 feet a minute and three service lifts with a speed of 500 feet a minute.
Total building costs including all mechanical sub-contracts will be about $25,000,000. Electrical, plumbing and air-conditioning sub-contracts will be supervised by Wallace International Ltd., with the plumbing and electrical work being carried out by The China Engineers Ltd. and the air-conditioning by The Jardine Engineering Corporation Ltd.
Owners of the new hotel are Wynncor Ltd. Architects are Palmer and Turner. Main contrac- tors are Paul Y Construction Co. Ltd.
