signed by Mr. Donald T. Walters. The Building Authority's approval for construction has been received, and the plan will soon be ready for ten- dering.
It is situated about 200 feet above sea level on the extension of Cheung Hong Street which runs southward from King's Road opposite the Em- pire Theatre. At the moment, the extension from the existing part of Cheung Hong Street will have to be formed by the owner of this property in order to obtain access to the site, but when the proposed extension to Tin Hau Temple Road is carried out, in the not too distant future it is hoped, the site on which this apart- ment stands will have a valuable frontage on it.

from the architect's drawing, will have the ground floor reserved for covered parking area for tenants' cars, while the residential floors will contain six apartments, each pair of apartments being serviced by a lift. There will, therefore, be three lifts. strategically centred between each pair of apartments, giving easy and uncrowded service to the tenants.
There will be four 3-bedroom apart- ments and two 2-bedroom apart- ments on each floor, the larger apartments have two bathrooms and the smaller ones, one. Each apart- ment will have balconies as an out- door extension to the living rooms. but the centre apartment will have the advantage of large balconies ex- tending practically the full width of the apartment to include access from the two bedrooms.
It is estimated that this building will cost about $2,000,000.
