having a total diameter of 139 ft. dance floor in the centre will be 68 ft. in diameter, the rest of the area devoted to restaurant space and a very attractive bar lounge. The ceiling of this second restau- rant will extend into the dome of the structure, which will permit the occupants of the second floor a view of the proceed- ings below, and will make possible some very interesting decorative effects.
This second floor will contain twelve private suites, each with a bath attached, as well as a large entrance lounge and a private dining area.
The outdoor grounds will extend for ap- proximately 170 ft. radius around the main restaurant block, and here will be found practically every outdoor attraction for the edification of man, woman and child. The main feature will be a rococo- shaped swimming pool for adults with a children's paddling pool as an adjunct to it. This swimming pool will be surround- ed by garden areas for lounging and sun bathing, and will include a bar lounge, recreation rooms, ladies' and gentlemen's changing rooms and kiosks where soft drinks can be obtained. In the children's pool there will be a fountain cascade which will make quite an impressive sight while providing the youngsters with fun.
Surrounding the night club entrance will be gardens and terrace for outdoor danc- ing, with a separate bandstand and a small dance floor.
Adjacent to this part of the grounds will be tennis and badminton courts and a skating rink, each with their own bar and observation lounge, and ladies' and gentle- men's changing rooms.
Finally, there will be a special children's playground with such attractions for the youngsters as Dodge-em-Cars, Children's Crazy Teahouse, sand pits, swings, round- abouts and a Jungle Jim. At the outer perimeter of this children's playground will be a Japanese restaurant with its own special kitchen and a covered dining
terrace.
Special mention must be made of the provision of ten small private chalets, placed along the boundary of the grounds between the swimming pools and the ten- nis courts, in which family parties can stay in comfort for the day, or for several days while enjoying a holiday in this sumptuous and thrilling resort.
The whole project is estimated to cost about $4,000,000, and no effort will be spared to make this a beautiful as well as a happy place. The grounds will be care. fully landscaped with flower garden set out between the various sections. Parking facilities will be provided for about 300 cars.
