Another view of the dining roomt.
In the dining room deep green walls and woodwork is surmounted by an off-white coloured ceiling. The chairs have rose-red upholstery to match the red orchid in the printed linen draperies which have an off-white background with deep green and red accents. The chairs are slip-covered in summer to match the draperies. The rug is a deep emerald green.
In the central hall, the walls, ceiling and woodwork are in the same sage green as the living room; the rug is also sage green. Benches are covered in a Chinese red hand-blocked linen in an oriental design. This results in a striking decor which serves as a fitting introduction into this lovely residence.
The walls, ceiling and woodwork in the master bedroom are painted a sunshiny yellow. The draperies, which when drawn cover one side of the room completely, are a print com- bining white, shades of gray, and yellow. Chair coverings and the bedspread and headboard are in harmonizing solid shades of yellow and gray. Rugs are a silvery gray.
In the guest room, the walls are an off-shade of deep aqua; pale pink chintz and white organdy are used for the bedspreads. curtains and dressing-table. Covers of chairs are in muted shades of old rose satin. A shaggy white rug gives added light to the room.
