The whole lighting installation scheme was planned by the architects, Messrs. Palmer & Turner in associa tion with the Lighting Engineering Department of the Singapore Branch of the General Electric Co., Ltd. of England, who also supplied the fittings and Osram lamps.

This is a typical example of the lighting in the redecorated
Banking Chamber of the Hongkong and Shanghai Bank in
Singapore, Enclosed Perspex twin 5 and 4 G.E.C. fittings
with Osram fluorescent lumps are used throughout the Bank.
