This firm is expecting a large shipment of various and modern fittings which will all he on display at the Building Centre when they arrive,
SHEWAN, TOMES & CO., LTD. The booth of this firm which deals in a very wide range of building materials is graphically representative of their products. The floor has been very at- tractively covered with Semastie as- phalt tiles in green and cream marbled with solid block strips to outline the
pleasant gemetrical patten.
On one wall three panels have been set, one with Acousti-Celotex insulation tiles: one with Pilkington's Vitrolite tiles; and one with Boote's glazed tiles. On shelving set on tubular stands, there is displayed complete

range of Schlage locks, some of them set in transparent plastic which makes visible the working sections of the locks. This firm also represents Tonks, Birming- ham, Ltd., and their extensive range of hardware, comprising locks, bolts, hinges, angle sets and door closers is included in the display. Sisalkraft in several qualities: Celotex in various types of boardings; Durable roofing in a number of grades, finishes and colours; glass brick and cathedral and

EAST ASIATIC CO., LTD), This firm is one of Hong Kong's most important dealers in timbers, and their principal display cousists of a beautifully laid teak parquet floor to the booth, with samples of various grades of Douglas fir and hemlock from Canada; teak from Burma; Lauan from the Philip pines; and Serayah, Apitong and Kem- pas from Malaya. This firm also imports Marelli ceiling fans, one of which is fitted in the booth for demonstration.
