feet and a 2,000 ft. pipe line from the sea for flushing.
Because of its length and the height to which it had to be carried. the pipeline cost $150.000.
Taking into account the expense of the pipeline, the inclusion of fit- tings in the budget and the novel, multi-storey street construction, the cost per cubic foot. at an expected $1.75, will be low.
The site area (A.I.L. 260) was formerly terraced paddy fields. It has an area of 160 thousand square feet.
The building area. when complet- ed, will total about 60.800 square feet. The buildings, like the paddy fields. will be on terraced levels.
More than 800,000 cubic feet of excavation had to be carried out during site reformation.
